What is Knox?
Knox was first launched by Samsung in September 2013. The security system was developed to offer devices complete protection while making it easier for users to use the devices in both work and private use in Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) areas.BYOD provides essential tools for the elimination of risks that may lead to sensitive data leaking as well fight espionage. It was primarily shipped with the Galaxy Note 3 and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, and was later added to other Samsung devices after the Android 4.3 update. What is the issue surrounding Knox?
Applications not recognized by Knox have restricted access to the saved data. Though for most people this may not seem like an issue, some would differ, most especially developers such Chainfire, who were responsible for the SuperSU and the well-known TriangleAway application purposed with the reset of your device’s flash counter to zero.Knox security system hinders access to a number of apps once your device is rooted along as bring rise to complications with your warranty due to the fact that modifying your phone trips the flash counter and thus making a reset difficult.Knox applies a technology for auto-configuring known as the eFUSE to check if a user alters their device. Samsung uses the Knox records to reject or accept user request for support within the warranty period. How to Deactivate Knox
