Google Wifi automatically switches your handsets to the fastest, strongest connection. It also has the ability to detect congestion on its network at will move your handsets to the connections that work best. The handset supports a speed of a maximum of 600Mbps, so do not worry about failing to stream a 4K movie.
Network Assist
The Google Wifi application has a feature called Network Assist that helps you enjoy the optimal experience. The Network Assist will tell you what points you should move to other rooms to maximize the network speed. Since only one point needs direct wiring to the modem, you other points can be placed anywhere else they can get power.
