After the massive maintenance update released for international variants of the Galaxy Note 4, U.S. carrier T-Mobile is following the trail. T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge October security update is now rolling out, which is supposedly the last major maintenance update for the device.Weighing in at around 250MB in size, the latest update brings up the version of the two devices to N910TUVU2EPJ2/N910T3UVU3EPJ2 (Note 4) and N915TUVU2DPJ2 (Note Edge). Apart from bringing up the security level of the 2014 phablet from Samsung, the update also brings a wave of optimizations and bug fixes.T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge These security updates should roll out across the United States within the week, so make sure you look out for it. To manually check for the update, go to Settings->About phone->Software update->Check for updates.You will only receive a notification about the OTA update if your device is charged more than 50%. What's my model number?

There are several ways to locate your model number:

Option 1
On your device, go to Settings, then "About device" and scroll down to "Model number"
Option 2
Often times you can view the model number inside the device, by removing the battery
Option 3
Using Samsung's model/serial number location tool
