Super Mario’s foray into the 3D world is said to be one of the greatest video games ever made. Fortunately, the game has been availed on Android. However, expect to encounter slight bugs for a while till Nintendo comes up with a way to keep security high and privacy down.

If you are relentless to wait for the official release of Super Mario 64 on Android, do not panic! We are here to help you. Early 2015, Eric Roystan revamped the first level of Super Mario, Bob-omb Battlefield, letting anyone play the game in an internet browser.

The project by Roysan was swiftly disapproved by Nintendo but the project still lives in an Android port by Jose Pablo Ramirez, a developer. This means that you can easily play the game on your Android handset without installing any emulators.

The game is not exactly like the real Super Mario Run but it is enough to keep you entertained for now.

Requirements

A Bluetooth controller for the starters.

Install Super Mario 64

This game is not on the Google Play Store thus you will need to make sure that you have enabled the ‘Unknown sources’ option on your handset. Then hit the link to download and install the games apk.

Download SuperMario64HD

Set up the controls

Open the installed game and set up the settings. This can be done in the title screen or by using the back button if you are already in the game. Select ‘Gamepad’ so that the controller operates properly.

Enjoy Super Mario 64

Though it is the first level, this game is challenging. With the controls set up to your liking, enjoy smashing the Big Bob-omb on the summit. The good part of the game about the game is that it does not need a pesky emulator such as PPSSPP.
