The very popular game by HalfBrick Studios, Fruit Ninja, finally received a new Update after almost a year from the previous one. It also seems to be a really cool one mostly because of the added ‘Pomegranate’. This is the fruit that pops at the end of a score on Clasic Mode or Arcade Mode that you have to slice as fast as possible adding you points depending on the number of slices you managed until the fruit explodes. This is similar to the feature seen in the iOS version.
Of course the game has plenty other additions. You can buy new power-ups and the super-fruit from the Gutsu merchant such as Bomb deflects, Berry Blasts and Peachy Time.
The new version of Fruit Ninja features a wider Tablet support that now have the MultiPlayer features added. The condition for this is having at least a 7 inch screen. The multiplayer modes are Classic Attack and Zen Duel but you can only play locally.
You will also take advantage of a new series of cool blades and new backgrounds. Overall the update reminds us that Fruit Ninja is still a cool game to play, even if we sort of got tired of it. If you like it and want to try out some of the new features, go on and download it from the official Google Play page.
