Just today Google released, together with Samsung, the Google Play Edition Galaxy S4. This is a fully stock Android powered Galaxy S4, just like the Nexus series. It has none of Samsung's proprietary software though, just pure Android. One this that was introduced though, different from the Nexus 4 that runs the same stock Android 4.2.2, is a new stock camera app. The camera app from stock Android 4.2.2 contains Photo Sphere, Google's 360 panoramic photo mode, and was improved with a new settings mode that allows you to select the flash mode and other settings with a flick. Another important feature that was added is that the volume buttons now act like a shutter button. The S4 is not equipped with a special button to take photos, an so are most Samsung devices, but with this option you can easily take pictures by pressing the volume buttons.
