Accessing the internet on a small screen can sometimes be challenging, especially if you’re not using the right browser app. You most definitely want to install a browser that is fast, simple to use, and that provides a great experience all the same. However, there are dozens of browser apps on the Android marketplaces, and it can be difficult to choose the right one. Based on my analysis and review, below are the top web browsers on Android.

1.      Dolphin Browser

For a good reason, the Dolphin browser has won the love of millions of Android users. You get an easy to use web browser that’s equipped with a full range of features for blocking ads, theming, private browsing, gesture controls and a lot of other things. You can also install add-ons to extend the capability of what Dolphin can do. A lot of Android users don’t even think about trying another browser app when they’re running Dolphin. It’s certainly worth the top slot on this list.

2.      Chrome

Needless to say, Chrome is one of the most popular web browsers on both Android and PC. Created by Google, Chrome delivers a wealth of features such as Data Saver, one-tap sharing, Google Cloud Print, No-tracking, customizable text and a well-functioning incognito mode. It outranks most of the other browser apps available in the marketplace, but slights fall short of providing the same ultimate experience that Dolphin does.

3.      Firefox

Since it was introduced on mobile, Firefox has certainly come a long way to be one of the best web browsers available. Some of its notable features include privacy browsing, desktop syncing, easy bookmarking, Chromecast support, quick sharing, add-ons and a sleek browsing experience. They are adding more features it’s also free to use.

4.      CM Browser

Cheetah Mobile’s CM Security browser is secure, small and speedy. If you’re looking for an ultralight browser that can help you access the web fast as well as protect you from various malware, this is it. You can activate user agent switching so as to easily access desktop sites, and get a warning whenever you access a potentially malicious site. The speed dial, text search, no-tracking setting, gesture control and page translator are some other awesome features.

5.      Flynx

Created by InfiKen Labs, Flynx has proved itself to be a force to reckon with. It comes across the board as an innovative and unique web browser that delivers interesting features such as floating windows and fast speeds. This is a great advantage compared to the full-screen mode that is the default in most browsers (with Flynx, you don’t have to leave the app that you’re using). For instance, when you click on a link, it loads in the background until you click on a little bubble when you’re ready to read it. Another key feature is night mode. There are probably at least 6 kickass browsers that we can add to this list. But these 5 have more than everything you need!
