If you are an Android user you may know Google apps such as Google Maps, Gmail, Chrome and YouTube, probably because they come preloaded on your Android smartphone. However, there also a few more awesome Google apps that you might not know of but should consider trying out.

Google Gesture Search

It can sometimes be time consuming having to search for certain apps, folders, contacts or even navigating to settings menu. Google Search is developed for the purpose of making this easier. After the initial set up, where you choose the things you'd like to search for, then you can find a contact, an app or a menu with a simple drawing of the name on the screen. The app features a streamlined design that looks almost like KitKat's settings menu. Its only disadvantage is that you need to launch the app every time, meaning the Gesture Search can't be applied from any screen.

Androidify

This app is more fun oriented than useful. Google's Androidify is a game app which involves the creating your own android and sharing it with friends. This app allows you to choose how you want its head, arms, and leg look, and even accessorize it.You can name it, enjoy exploring all its different functions, have it play or laugh and so much more.

YouTube Creator Studio

If you are an intense YouTube user then this app is for you. YouTube Creator Studio is surprisingly, not a well-known app. For users with YouTube channels, this service enables the to manage those channels directly from their handset.YouTube Creator Studio also generates a range of useful information including the number of subscribers, real-time updates on channel views, and video list with likes, comments and stats. The app also allows management of notifications and replying to comments.

Google Goggles

Google has made it easy to look up things online by simply typing a keyword, however when an object is too hard to describe or you are just to lazy to type, then Google Goggles may come in handy. With this app, all you have to do is take a picture of the item in question and search Google for results.

Arts and Culture

If you have a passion for art, history or wonders of the world, the Arts and Culture app will let you explore all these and more. On the home screen, you'll find three main sections, one for Art, another for History and the other for Wonders, in each you will access a variety of articles packed with photos and facts.Additionally, in its menu, you will find the most recent projects, impressive online exhibitions and virtual tours of some of the world's greatest museums. What other Google apps haven't we mentioned? Let us know in the comments.
